SHINE!

On April 14th, 2007 we will be having another women's breakfast.

This time, Bradford Baptist Church is hosting, and it will be an incredible

time of fellowship over breakfast, followed by some sweet praise and

worship and teaching! 

 

We also will be introducing our new community Bible Study that will kick off in May 2007,

Recognizing God, Living a Life of Surrender - is a study that the Lord put on the heart

of CrossTrainers staff this past September and was taught by Jodi Greenstreet at her

former Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa from January to March of this year.  Now Jodi

will be teaching the study here, with the help of Brian as he edits video from their time

in Iowa.  The study will run Monday nights, Tuesday nights, Thursday mornings and

Big News:

Our most exciting news is that we have received the keys to a 1 million dollar

home in Bradford to be used as a Women's Transitional Home!

 

This will be a privately run homethat is faith-based.   The local churches

are coming together to run and staff the centre (Mercy House) and we have

already been blessed with 2 women to head up the ministry!  The home will

be a transitional one, as there is no transitional housing for women in the area.

We are hoping to work together with local social agencies to meet some of these

needs here in the Bradford community.

 

Please pray with us as we work towards renovations and staff training in preparation

to open, Lord willing, in 2007.
