RSVP June 16th

Just a reminder about our Thank You Dessert Night at Springdale Christian Reform Church on Saturday June 16th at 7:00pm. All are welcome. We just want to thank you for your prayers and support over the past year and tell some of the God Stories that you have been a part of.

If you can RSVP to us it would be a great help for planning for numbers, but we really would just love to see you even if you can come last minute. You can call us at 905-775-5937.

The Hub

What an incredible few months we have had at the Hub. We have seen 4 of our young people come to Christ and the fruit is already starting to show in their lives.

We have had Jenna Wickens, a Rec and Leisure student from Niagara College, interning at the Hub during the month of May. She has been an incredible help and built awesome relationships with the youth already. Her major project was to plan our camping weekend at Killarney Provincial Park, and though it dropped to freezing both nights, the kids had an awesome time and it was there that 2 made decisions for Christ - Praise God!

Jenna will be staying on with us for the summer as our summer intern. We originally were denied by the government for our funding, however, after Jenna said she knew God had called her here whether or not there was the money to pay her, the government called back and said we could hire a student! Jenna is learning much about trusting her Father!

Mercy House

Renovations are in their final stages. We are currently waiting on carpet and light fixtures, but in the mean time there are several jobs that we just need volunteers for.

There is one wall that needs a second quote, a bit of trim in the basement and 2 doors that need to be stained. If you are able to help, please contact Laura at 905-806-8856. Our heart is to have the house finished by the end of June so that staff training can get underway. We are also looking for 5 exit signs (with emergency lights) if anyone knows someone we can get in touch with, it would be a great help.

Lawrence has been doing an incredible job that we can never repay him for. Please pray the Lord's blessing on him and that we can finish the house and give him some rest this summer!

Brian and Heather have moved out and our new house parents, Jenn and Kyle Brewer, have settled in. Thank you to all who helped with the moves and getting the houses ready for them!

Bible Study

The "Recognizing God - Living a Life of Surrender" Bible Study is going well. We have ladies from all the local church families studying the word together and it has been a continual blessing as we learn together.

Please continue to pray that the Lord uses this study in whatever way He wants in the future. It is our heart that it will always be a free resource for anyone who would like it, and the Lord has provided for the whole study!

We would also love your prayers as our summer speaking ministry starts up in June. We have much travelling ahead of our team, and would love your prayers for safety and that the Lord would use us greatly at all the camps He has called us to this summer!
