Full Time Staff:          Jodi Greenstreet

                            

 

Jodi graduated from Emmaus Bible College, in Dubuque Iowa.  She then spent

some time in the fitness industry doing sales and management.  However, it

was in 2000 that the Lord spoke His idea of CrossTrainers to both Jodi and

Patti.   

 

Jodi took a leap of faith and went full time about 6 months after CrossTrainers' birth

and the stories that she has of God's provision are astounding!  She is one of the

visionaries behind the ministry and does most of the Public Relations aspects, especially

in regards to CrossTrainers desire to see unity in the Church of Bradford.  She

also spends much of her weekends and summers in camp ministries, speaking across

Canada and the United States.

 

Jodi's heart is for unity among the Church of Bradford; and her passion and

vision has poured over into many lives, both in the youth centre, as well as

in the local churches.

Patti graduated from Brock University with an Honours English Literature BA, and from the University of Western Ontario with her Bachelor of Education.  She spent 5 years teaching high school in Toronto, but it was during her 3rd year of teaching that the Lord spoke to her and Jodi to start CrossTrainers.  She took her leap of faith in 2003, leaving the teaching profession to go into full time ministry along with Jodi.  She now serves in administration with CrossTrainers, as well as helping in any capacity needed and has seen God do amazing things in her life as He continually surprises her.

 

Patti's heart has also been to see the Church working together to meet the needs of the community.  It is only through the united efforts of the Church that a community can truly be transformed!  She also spends summers with Jodi as they serve at several different camps across the US and Canada

 

                                Brian and Heather Langford

    

                               

 

 

Brian and Heather Langford joined the CrossTrainers team after a series of events and God's intervention in their lives.  Brian and Heather took a very large leap of faith when Brian left full time employment at Honda of Canada Mfg. (where he had been for the last 7 years) to join CrossTrainers.  Brian and Heather both believed that their paths were being guided by God and that they were to live by faith seeing Him provide for them and their family of four children.  Their journey has been an exciting and scary one as God has increased their faith and provided for their needs.

 

Brian and Heather both have a passion for seeing the needs of the community met in the love of Jesus.  It is their prayer that they would be used by God to do what He is blessing and not to be seeking His blessing on what they would want to do.   They wish to live out their lives serving God and sharing their lives with others. 

 

                           

Our newest staff member is Laura van der Kooi.  She has come on to be our administrator for Mercy House and is an integral part of the Mercy House team as they put the house together as well as staff training and policies and procedures.

Laura comes from a background of medical administration, and is excited to serve the Lord in this capacity along with her husband Tim and their boys.  She has been a blessing to us already and we can't quite figure out how we ever managed to survive without her before.  Please pray for their continuing provision from the Lord and that God would teach Laura and their whole family more about Himself!
